NEW DELHI, July 29: Steady conditions persisted at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today with prices by and large after moving both ways on alternate bouts of buying and selling, ended at last levels.
Muzzafarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also pegged at last levels on little doing.
Marketmen said limited offtake by stockists and retailers along with adequate stocks mostly kept gur prices unaltered.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,500-3,600, pedi Rs 3,800-3,900, dhayya Rs 3,900-4,000 and shakkar Rs 4,100-4,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,600-2,650, chakku Rs 3,100-3,200,khurpa Rs N.Q. And Ladoo Rs 3,250-3,300.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,400-3,450 and dhayya Rs 3,450-3,500. (PTI)
