51 girls complete Annual Academic Camp

JAMMU, June 26: The 12th Annual Academic Camp for the students of Harbans Bhalla Educational Trust and Roshan Educational Society concluded here today.
The students performed cultural activities like dancing, singing and shared their experiences during the camp.
Prominent supporters of the Trust and parents of the children took part and appreciated the role of HBETRES and their team for a successful camp.
The camp was attended by 51 girls of class 8th, 9th and 10th hailing from backward / rural areas which included Dansal, Chak, Doomi, Gajansoo, Chakrali, Birpur, Surinsar, Garh Mandi, Jourian, etc.
Vijay Bhagotra, Superintendent Engineer (Retd) was the chief guest and  Jagmohan Sharma, Chairman Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited was the guest of honour. They asked the students to work hard and take full advantage of the support being provided to them for their bright future and excel in their studies.
Cash prizes were distributed to the high achievers in academics, games and cultural performances. Green House Team was adjudged as “Best House”.
The Managing Trustee said that the students were given intensive educational coaching by some of the best teachers and professionals from various fields. Students were provided free boarding and lodging as well as free study material and medical care by the Bee Enn Charitable Trust during the 15 day camp. They were taken to Sanasar and Jhajjar Kotli for sightseeing and physical activities. They also attended daily Yoga classes and celebrated International Yoga Day. Sports competitions were also arranged for them. These initiatives bring out the hidden talent in students and also develop their overall personalities, Managing Trustee added.
The parents expressed gratitude to the Trust for arranging the camp and supporting the education of their children.
