RAJOURI, Dec 4: A plantation drive was carried out at Agrati Dhangri under the chairmanship of Chairman District Legal Services Authority Rajouri Jaffer Hussain Beg (Principal District and Sessions Judge Rajouri) in association with the Social Forestry Department Rajouri here today.
On the occasion, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Rajouri Meyank Gupta took part in the drive. Ranger Officer Social Forestry Department Gulshan Kumar along with other staff of the Department were also present.
During the plantation drive, 500 saplings of different species including Accita, Bulica, Semia, Eucalyptus, Amla, Guava, etc were planted.
Students of Genius Public School Agrati also participated in the drive and planted the saplings.
On the occasion, Chairman District Legal Services Authority Rajouri Jaffer Hussain Beg stressed upon the gathering including students to plant the trees.
