Srinagar, Nov 16: At least 50 deaf children were today given hearing aids free of cost by Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Hearing & Speech Disabilities Mumbai at Abhedananda Home, Solina here today
In this regard, a free of cost assessment cum distribution camp in the premises of this institution during which 50 deaf children were provided hearing aids free of cost.
The parents, who accompanied the children, appreciated the authorities of the institution for organizing such events.
The officials from Ali Yavar Jung Institute Mumbai include R P Sharma, HOD, Dr P.J. Mathew Martin, Media Officer, Arvind, SWO, B R Shinde-SEO and Gopal Sharma-IO, Department of Outreach & Extension Services.
The guests on the occasion were received by the In-charge, the staff and the students of the institution.
On the occasion, the services of Ali Yavar Jung Institute Mumbai for their Outreach Services were appreciated and thanked the team for their visit to this Institution and the distribution of hearing aids.
From Ali Yavar Jung Institute R P Sharma HOD gave the introduction of the Institute and its outreach programmes, Mr R P Sharma HOD, E&O Services, also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the importance of such events. He assured to be in touch with the Institution for such other programmes and services rendered by the Institute.
In-charge Ab Home and the staff also thanked the team and other guests for their visit to the institution and for recognising the services rendered by the Institution.
