UDHAMPUR, Nov 15: In a tragic incident, a five- year old child was crushed to death by a Tipper at Roun Domail on Dhar Road Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Samir Ahmed, son of Sadiq Ahmed of Roun Domail Dhar Road Udhampur.
The accident took place around 4 pm when the Tipper with temporary number JMUBB-3356, was being reversed by the driver and the child came under rear tyre of the vehicle. The child reportedly died on the spot.
Some locals on the spot overpowered the driver and handed him over to the Police, which has registered a case in this connection for necessary action.
