UDHAMPUR, May 20: Police today seized five vehicles involved in illegal transportation of mining/ construction material in the Roun Domail area.
A Police team, headed by IC PP Roun Domail, PSI Akhilesh Khajuria, seized three Tipper (JK14D-0172, JK14E- 6178 and JK14F-2167) and two trolleys (JK14F-8339 and JK14H-8339) indulging in illegal extraction/transporting of construction material from Tawi river.
All the seized vehicles were immediately handed over to the officials of Geology and Mining Department Udhampur for further legal proceedings.
The drive was conducted under the supervision of SSP Udhampur Dr Vinod Kumar.
