KISHTWAR, Oct 26: Police arrested five notorious drug peddlers along with cannabis and heroin.
As per official sources, a team from Police Station Kishtwar led by SHO Inspector Abid Hussain Bukhari and assisted by PSI Rahul Sharma, PSI Manmeet Singh and SI Mohd Shafi under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Kishtwar laid checking points at different locations and arrested five notorious drug peddlers along with 137 grams of cannabis and 3 grams of heroin.
The arrested persons have been identified as Touseef Qayoom, son of Abdul Qayoom R/o Sarkoot District Kishtwar, Baber Hussain, son of Bashir Ahmed of Saroor District Kishtwar,
Arjun Kumar, son of Vijay Kumar of Berabatta District Kishtwar, Bhavesh Sharma, son of Kamal Nain of Berabatta District Kishtwar and Momin Kamal, son of Asgar Ali Kamal of Kamal Mohalla District Kishtwar.
Four cases under relevant sections of law have been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
