DODA, May 8: Forest Department has retrieved 5 kanals of forest land which falls in Compartment Number 12/B Rajpura in block Jhota from the encroachers.
The area was got evicted from encroachers and by removing brushwood fencing.
Forest Department officials said that land was illegally encroached by some locals of the areas.
The encroachment was removed by the Forest Department team headed by BO Khurshid Ahmed under the supervision of Range Officer Bhellessa Sameer Rishu, Chander Shaikher Divisional Forest Officer Bhaderwah and Conservator of Forests Chenab Circle Satpal Pakru.
