5 injured in road mishap; pilgrim found dead

REASI, Sept 20: A Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrim from Jalandhar in Punjab, was found dead on the track to the Bhawan while a couples and their one-year old son among five persons were injured when a Tempo met with accident near Chakrass in Mahore.
Police said that one Naresh Kumar Tiwari alias Happy, son of Krishan Lal Tiwari, resident of Raghunath Mandir Babu Labh Singham Nagar, Lane Number 6, Jalandhar, was found lying unconscious on the track. He was shifted to a dispensary at 5 kms from the Bhawan, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Cause of death appears to be heart attack but Police has registered the case for further investigation.
Meanwhile, reports from Mahore said that a tempo JK20- 7237 met with accident when it was on way from Mahore to Chakrass. Five persons were injured in the accident and they were shifted to Sub District Hospital Mahore for treatment. They were identified as Shakeel Ahmed, his wife Tanha Kousar and their one year old son Ahram Shakil, Shaheen Akhter wife of Bashir-ud-Din of Bakhtarand and Jan Begum wife of Bashir Ahmed of Chakras.
