KISHTWAR, Sept 9: Five persons were injured in bus and Eco van collision near Wardan bridge on Kishtwar-Thathri highway, falling under the jurisdiction of Kishtwar Police Station.
As per police sources, a bus bearing registration number JK02BK-5677 was on its way from Kishtwar towards Jammu collided with Eco van near Wardha bridge on Kishtwar-Thathri highway, resulting into injuries to 5 persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals rescued the injured persons.
All the injured persons were shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar, from where three critical injured persons were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for specialized treatment.
The injured have been identified as Mohammad Hanief (45), son of Bashir Ahmed of Chellar Gandoh, Abdul Qayoom (60), son of Ghulam Mohammad Naik of Chellar Gandoh, 40 year old Rashid Mughal (driver), son of Mohammad Hussain of Bhatyas Gandoh, Tariq Hussain (20), son of Mohammad Hussain of Chellar Gandoh and Sajjad Hussain (35), son of Ghulam Mohammad of Thathri.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Kishtwar Police Station and investigation started.
