RAJOURI, July 17: At least five muddy houses were collapsed due to heavy rain in Budhal area of district Rajouri last evening.
Reports reaching here said that there was heavy rain in Budhal and Kotranka area last evening and over night. Two houses of Shah Mohammed, son of Raj Mohammed at Dandot village were damaged in the rain. The family members, however, had miraculous escape. Their house hold goods were buried under the debris.
A house and cattle-shed of one Abdul Rashid, son of Jumma, resident of Gonda village were collapsed in the rain. No loss of human life has been reported. Cattle shed of one Mohd Hussain, son of Jumma, resident of Gadyot has been damaged while the house of one Mohd Rafiq, son of Noor Din, resident of Gadyot village was partially damaged late last evening. The Revenue officials today paid visit to these areas and reported the matter to the Tehsildar Budhal.
