5 houses, 3 cowsheds gutted

Srinagar, Nov 25: Five residential houses and three cowsheds were gutted across the Valley on the intervening night of Sunday.
A police spokesman said that fire broke out in the joint residential house of Ali Mohammad Mir, Zaman Mir, Ghulam Mohammad Mir sons of Mohammad Sultan Mir and Abdul Rehman Mir, Abdul Ahad Mir, Mushtaq Ahmad Mir sons of Mohammad Afzal residents of Payer Mohalla, Sulkote, Kupwara in which the house got completely damaged.
A two storied residential house of Mohammad Taha Tantary son of Ghulam Ali Tantary and Abdul Aziz Tantary son of Ghulam Ali resident of Khadar, Kapran, Anantnag in the jurisdiction of police station Dooru in which the house and an adjacent cowshed gutted completely during the intervening night of Sunday.
The spokesman said fire broke out at village Singoora, Kulgam in the jurisdiction of police station Damhal Hanjipora, in which residential house and cowshed of one Abdul Rehman Mir son of Mohammad Ismail resident of Singoora, Dahmal Hanjipora were completely damaged.
Fire also broke out in the residential house of Mst. Jahan Ara wife of Late Javaid Ahmed Sheikh resident of Shah-i-Hamdan Colony, Srinagar. The house got completely damaged in the incident.
A joint  residential house of Fayaz Ahmed Katroo son of Abdul Gani and Tariq Ahmed Katroo resident of Nandpora Khanabal, Anantnag, in which the house was partially damaged. However no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident.
The spokesman said fire broke out in the cowshed of Mohammad Khalil Ganie son of Ghulam Qadir Ganie resident at Devsar. The roof top of the cowshed was damaged.
