5 gamblers held by Arnia police

JAMMU, Oct 15: Arnia police arrested five gamblers along with Rs 1,600 stake money and playing cards from Kandli, RS Pura.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police team from Arnia Police Station conducted a raid in Kandli, RS Pura and arrested five gamblers along with Rs 1,600 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Deepak Sharma, son of late Romesh Kumar, Tarsem Lal, son of late Amar Nath, Dharminder Kumar, son of Mangat Ram, Manoj Kumar, son of late Tara Chand and Darshan Lal, son of Gurdas Chand, all residents of Kandli, RS Pura.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Arnia Police Station. Police produced the accused in the court of law.
Police team headed by SHO Arnia Police Station Inspector Kulbir Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Devinder Singh and SP Headquarters Randhir Singh.
