5 die of COVID in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Sept 7: Five persons died of COVID in Kashmir while Valley reported 413 cases today taking the number of cases in J&K to 44570.
Those who died include 55-year-old woman from Boniyar Uri, a 70-year-old man from Watargam Baramulla, a 70-year-old man from Khrew Pulwama, a 63-year-old woman from Tral Pulwama and a 73-year-old man from Paranpillan Uri Baramulla.
An official from SMHS said that a patient from Boniyar Uri who was admitted on Septembers, a patient from Watergam Baramulla who was admitted a few days before and a patient from Khrew Pulwama who was admitted on September 3 died today.
An official from SKIMS Medical College Bemina said that a patient from Tral who was admitted on September 1 died today.
An official from SKIMS Soura said that a patient from Paranpillan Uri Baramulla who was admitted on September 4 died today.
With fresh fatalities, the death toll in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 808 including 701 from Kashmir division.
Kashmir valley reported 413 cases of COVID-19 today taking the number of cases in J&K to 44570.
And out of these cases Srinagar reported 136, Baramulla 31, Pulwama 40, Budgam 56, Anantnag 40, Bandipora 31, Kupwara 38, Kulgam 3, Shopian 10 and Ganderbal 28.
An official said that Srinagar has 10300 positive cases with 1400 active, 8660 recovered, 240 deaths; Baramulla has 3079 positive cases with 604 active, 2369 recovered, 106 deaths; Pulwama reported 2896 positive cases with 509 active cases, 2328 recovered, 59 deaths; Kulgam has 2000 positive cases with 126 active, 1835 recoveries, 39 deaths; Shopian has 1756 positive cases with 114 active, 1613 recovered, 29 deaths; Anantnag district has 2600 positive cases with 563 active, 1985 recovered, 52 deaths; Budgam has 2923 positive cases with 755 active and 2102 recovered, 66 deaths; Kupwara has 2421 positive cases with 726 active, 1641 recovered, 54 deaths; Bandipora has 2395 positive cases with 702 active, 1667 recovered, 26 deaths and Ganderbal has 1782 positive cases with 437 active cases, 1320 recoveries and 25 deaths.
In Jammu and Kashmir out of 44570 positive cases, 11009 are active, 32760 have recovered and 801 have died; including 696 in Kashmir division.
And out of 1088652 test results available, 1044082 samples have tested negative.
Moreover, 364 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals in Kashmir Division.
