5 die of COVID in Kashmir, 355 test +ve

SRINAGAR, Oct 25: Kashmir today reported 355 fresh cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 91861 while five died of Corona in Valley taking the death toll in J&K to 1440.
Those who tested positive include 124 from Srinagar, Budgam 26, Baramulla 80, Pulwama 19, Kupwara 36, Anantnag 14, Bandipora 19, Ganderbal 7, Kulgam 5 and Shopian 25.
With these fresh cases, Srinagar has now 18655 positive cases with 1748 active, 16563 recovered, 344 deaths; Baramulla has 5619 positive cases with 1429 active, 4049 recovered, 141 deaths; Pulwama reported 4558 positive cases with 238 active cases, 4240 recovered, 80 deaths; Kulgam has 2459 positive cases with 108 active, 2305 recoveries, 46 deaths; Shopian has 2171 positive cases with 85 active, 2051 recovered and 35 deaths; Anantnag district has 4176 positive cases with 359 active, 3743 recovered, 74 deaths; Budgam has 5862 positive cases with 365 active and 5405 recovered, 92 deaths; Kupwara has 4286 positive cases with 394 active, 3821 recovered, 71 deaths; Bandipora has 3976 positive cases with 277 active, 3654 recovered, 45 deaths and Ganderbal has 3427 positive cases with 204 active cases, 3191 recoveries and 32 deaths.
Out of 91861 positive cases, 7565 are active Positive, 82858 have recovered and 1438 have died including 960 in Kashmir division.
So far 2175682 samples were processed with 2083821 testing negative and 91861 positive.
Moreover, 639 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 376 from Kashmir Division.
Kashmir today reported five more COVID-19 related deaths, taking the fatality count in Jammu and Kashmir to 1440.
Three persons died in Baramulla and one each in Budgam and Pulwama. With these deaths, the fatality count has reached 961 in Valley.
