JAMMU, Dec 21: Organized by Tawi Welfare Society, Sure Chack (Jammu), a five-day free cataract eye operation camp concluded today.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr Chander Parkash Sharma, Medical Superintendent, Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Jammu. Today, on the concluding day of the camp, Kishore Singh Chib, Director Floriculture, was the chief guest.
More than 272 patients were examined during the camp and out of them 29 patients were admitted for operation. A team of doctors comprising Dr Nirupama Dogra, Dr Kamal Gupta, Dr Shehkar Sharma and Dr Payal Gupta conducted the surgery.
During the camp, free boarding, lodging and medicines were provided to the patients.
