SAMBA, Dec 20: Ghagwal Police rescued five bovine animals but the driver managed to run from the spot.
As per police sources, a team from Ghagwal Police Station laid a naka and intercepted Mahindra load carrier bearing registration number JK02BK-5608 which was on way to Kathua from Jammu.
During checking, police rescued 5 bovine animals but the driver of the vehicle run from the spot, leaving behind the vehicle and animals.
A case under relevant Section has been registered at Ghagwal Police Station and investigation started.
