JAMMU, Jan 5: Ghagwal police today seized a Mahindra Bolero vehicle and recovered five bovine animals from it, which were being smuggled to Srinagar.
Police said the vehicle No. 3012 JK02N was seized at Londi Morh under the jurisdiction of Ghagwal police station this evening. The vehicle operator fled away from the spot.
Police parties headed by SHO Inspector Anu Sharma seized five bovine animals from the vehicle under the supervision of SSP Samba Anil Magotra.
A case in this connection has been registered at Ghagwal police station.
