5 AFCON employees injured in accident

RAMBAN, Aug 21: Five AFCON company employees received injuries, when the Maruti car they were travelling in turned turtle near Peerah, falling under the jurisdiction of Chanderkote police station.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02AF-7153, was on its way from Patnitop to Khari, when it turned turtle at Peerah, resulting into injuries to 5 AFCON company employees.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable, when reports last came in.
The injured have been identified as Jiwan Singh (driver), son of Ganderab Singh of district Doda, Abdul Rashid, son of Kachow Wani of Himachal Pradesh, Bittu Kumar, son of Kasturi Lal of district Kishtwar, Satish Kumar, son of Brij Lal of Himachal Pradesh and Satwant Singh, son of Gain Singh of Gandoh, district Doda.
A case under FIR Number 46/17 under Sections 279 and 337 RPC has been registered at police station Chanderkote and investigation started.
