SRINAGAR, July 13: The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) under the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting continued its grand exhibition today, marking the fourth day of the 5-days Multimedia Exhibition event commemorating the 9 Years of Governance G-20 Presidency Mission Life at SP Higher Secondary School.
Today’s programme was graced by Dr Tasaduq Hussain Mir (Director School Education Kashmir) as chief guest, Rajinder Choudhary (Additional Director General, CBC J&K and Ladakh region), Ghulam Abbas (Joint Director, CBC J&K and Ladakh region), Mohd Shabir (Chief Education Officer, Srinagar), Nisar Ahmad (Principal, SP Higher Secondary School) and others.
The Exhibition aims to highlight the achievements and progress made by the Government of India during its G-20 presidency and celebrate the spirit of freedom in the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsava. The fourth day of the event was dedicated to the awareness of the schemes launched for the welfare of students and it included PMKVY, UMEED, PMEGP, PMSS (Pre Matric and Post Matric). Ruheed Gul from the Department of Education presented an expert lecture on NEP 2020.
Dr Tasaduq Hussain Mir delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to become brand ambassadors and effectively communicate various Government schemes to the people around them. He laid stress on the importance of effective communication to create awareness and ensure the benefits reach every citizen.
Rajinder Choudhary expressed gratitude to all the stakeholders and participants for turning up in great numbers to visit the exhibition while Ghulam Abbas said that the exhibition has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response.
The 5-day exhibition will continue tomorrow, with a diverse range of programs and activities planned to engage and educate attendees.
