In district Udhampur and Ganderbal, the Government had restored 4G services few months ago. This facility will, however, continue in these two J&K districts.

There have been continued attempts from across the border to disrupt the elections by vitiating the security environment.
In view of the available inputs and taking note of the misuse of social media applications in carrying out terror activisties, the Government has decided to continue restrictions on high- speed telecommunication services in 18 districts of J&K till December 11, 2020, unless modified earlier.
