47th Corps ITBP celebrates 58th Foundation Day

JAMMU, Oct 24: The 47th Corps Rai (Tapyal) Indian Tibet Border Police Force (ITBP) celebrated its 58th Foundation Day of the Force at Baddowal. In this, CO Pawan Kumar Negi, Deputy CO Nehal Chand oversaw the parade as the chief guest, which was led by CO Pawan Kumar Negi.
On this occasion, the fighter briefed all the soldiers about the glorious history of the force congratulating the 58th Foundation Day. He shared his experiences describing the successful operations of the force. The assistant fighter said that the ITBP was constituted in 1962 to protect the 3488 km long border with Tibet.
The force is deployed on inaccessible paths from 9000 to 18700 feet and is keeping a close watch on the enemies, showing might and bravery. Apart from this, VVIP is also serving in many countries as important institutions, disaster management, internal security and UN peacekeeping Army.
