NEW DELHI, Mar 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed hope that the quality of debate in Parliament during the second part of the Budget session will be high, as members of all parties are committed to the cause of the poor.
”We are hoping that the quality of debate will be good and there will also be a possible breakthrough on GST,” the Prime Minister told reporters here.
”There will be support for GST because states and political parties have generally made constructive contribution for the same,” Mr Modi said.
The focus of the session will be on passage of the Budget and also to work for the poor, he added. (AGENCIES)
