Naeem Akhtar reviews facilities for CM’s Super-50 coaching programme

Minister for Education copySRINAGAR, Dec 27: Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar, today took stock of the facilities for comprehensive free tuitions under CM’s Super-50 coaching programme being offered by the Department of Education at various schools in Kashmir.

While visiting the Government High School Hyderpora, the Minister asked the officials to put in place all the necessary arrangements for the convenience of students before the start of classes under the coaching initiative. Director School Education Kashmir, Aijaz Ahmad and other officials of the Department accompanied the Minister during the visit.

On the occasion, the Minister took stock of facilities at the School like heating arrangements, wifi and computer facility, and faculty strength for start of the coaching classes at the institute. He was informed that the response to the coaching programme has been immense and the School currently has facility for imparting coaching to around 400 students.
The Minister said that CM’s Super-50 coaching programme for higher classes and winter tuitions for lower classes will enable students to prepare better for exams and learn in an innovative manner. It was said that winter tuition facility has been put in place at around 800 schools
throughout Kashmir division.

Akhtar said that these initiatives
would act as equalisers in the society where children from rich
and poor families are learning side by side in a classroom.
He said that the coaching programme will also have special focus on
personality development and the schools will host guest faculty too.
He urged the officials to advertise the coaching programme
so that more students become aware of it and avail its benefits.
