JAMMU, Aug 8: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 452 fresh COVID positive cases while 711 recovered from the virus leaving number of active cases at 5045.
Kashmir division reported 358 cases and Jammu 94.
In Jammu region, 59 cases were registered in Jammu district, 11 in Udhampur, six each in Kathua and Samba, five Ramban, three Rajouri, two Doda and one each in Poonch and Reasi districts.
With 226 recoveries, Jammu region has 1143 active cases.
Meanwhile, the Union Territory of Ladakh today reported 21 new cases, all in Leh district.
Ladakh now has 113 active positive cases including 103 in Leh district and 10 in Kargil.
