MUMBAI: Bali in Indonesia and Goa continue to remain popular among Indian travellers this winter season as people are seeking some sun to escape cold wave, according to a report.
Among the international destinations, TripAdvisor search data found that Bali emerged as the most popular destination this winter followed by Dubai and Phuket in Thailand.
“Beach destinations are dominating the list for Indian travellers who are seeking some sun to escape the winter this season,” TripAdvisor India Country Manager Nikhil Ganju said.
Other popular destinations which have featured for this winter in the top 10 list are Singapore, Mauritius, Bangkok, Krabi Town, Pattaya, Ko Samui and Ao Nang in Thailand.
In India, Goa is the most popular destination followed by Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Munnar in Kerala.
Jaipur, Udaipur in Rajasthan, Manali and Shimla in Himachal Pradesh, Puri in Odisha, Mumbai and New Delhi also featured as the top 10 destinations Indians are exploring within the country, the TripAdvisor data showed. (AGENCIES)
