Temp witnesses dip as rain lashes Kashmir

SRINAGAR: After recording above normal day temperature, the weather turned chilly as rain lashed Kashmir valley, including summer capital, Srinagar, this evening.

A Met department spokesperson, however, said that the weather will remain dry during the next six days in Kashmir valley and Ladakh region.

He said summer capital, Srinagar, recorded 25.5 degree day temperature, around 1.5 notches more than normal. But, the temperature witnessed a considerable dip due to chilly winds and rain in Srinagar this evening.

The spokesperson said, sky will mainly remain dry in Srinagar, where maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 26 degree and 7 degree respectively tomorrow.

He said, sky will mainly remain clear tomorrow in Ladakh region, where maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 19 degree and 1 degree respectively. (AGENCIES)
