NEW DELHI : Hyundai will unveil the new generation Hyundai i30 premium hatchback at the 2016 Paris Motor Show in October. It will come in 3 body styles: 5-door hatch, an estate and a four-door coupe.
New Hyundai i30 premium hatch coming this October
Hyundai, the South Korean automaker will reveal the new generation Hyundai i30 hatchback at the 2016 Paris Motor Show in October. It was speculated that the i30 hatchback will also be launched in India; however, the company hasn’t confirmed the same. Interestingly, the Korean automaker had showcased the previous generation model at the Auto Expo 2016.
The new Hyundai i30 will be made available in three body styles- a five-door, an estate and a four-door coupe. The company has dropped the three-door style model from its lineup. Hyundai has already started testing the new i30 in the Arctic and Swiss Alps. Moreover, the vehicle has also been spotted during performance testing at the Nurburgring race track in Germany. It will be based on the company’s evolved Fluidic 2.0 Design Philosophy. Adding to it, the next i30 will also get N performance model. It will rival against the Volkswagen Golf GTI, and the i30 N will be the first performance model from the carmaker’s performance division. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine.
