LOS ANGELES, Sept 22: Actor Charlie Sheen has joined the cast of movie “Mad Families”.
Sheen, 51, who is also attached as an executive producer, will star alongside Leah Remini, Naya Rivera and Finesse Mitchell, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Written by David Spade and Fred Wolf, the movie revolves around three families— one Hispanic, one African American, one Caucasian, who find themselves sharing the same camping space on the July 4th holiday weekend and try to figure out a way to co-habitat peacefully.
Sheen will star as Charlie Jones. Remini will star as his character’s step-mother, Cheyenne.
“Mad Families” marks Sheen’s latest project, since disclosing he is HIV positive. He is starring alongside Whoopi Goldberg in the indie action film “Nine Eleven” about five people trapped in an elevator in the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. (PTI)
