41 kanal forest land retrieved

JAMMU, July 20: In continuation with its anti-encroachment drive initiated in Ramnagar Forest Division, the Forest Department has retrieved 41 kanal of forest land.
The drive was carried out by a team constituted by Divisional Forest Officer, Ramnagar, Vivek Modi under the guidance of the Conservator of Forests, East Circle, Jammu.
The team led by Satish Kumar, Range Officer, Ramnagar South Range along with Block Officer, field staff of Rang Block and FPF staff visited compartment 49/S at village Rang of Ramnagar tehsil and removed the encroachment.
The team removed the barbed-wire and brush-wood fencing put up by the encroacher Jeet Singh son of Shiv Ram of Mohra Malti, Village Rang, Tehsil Ramnagar.
