SRINAGAR, July 5: Housing and Urban Development Department today suspended four officials for misappropriation and irregularities in financial transaction.
“On the basis of preliminary inquiry report submitted by the committee constituted vide order no DULB/ESTT/84-11-588 of 2019 issued by the Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir and pending further inquiry, into the alleged charges of irregularities in financial transaction, gross negligence and misconduct, the officers were placed under suspension with immediate effect,” the order issued here read.
The officers, who have been suspended are: Sarfaraz Ahmad Bhat, I/c Executive Officer, Municipal Committee Ganderbal, Shabir Ahmad Wani, I/c Chief Executive officer, Municipal Committee Pahalgam, Sayed Nayeem Rizvi Executive Officer, Municipal Committee, Bandipora, Gh Mohi- ud-Din Malik, Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Anantnag
During the period suspension, the order said, the officers will remain attached in the office of Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir.
