KISHTWAR, Aug 3: Four structures including three houses were gutted, while one house got partially damaged in fire, which broke out in Kiyar Dachhan area of the district.
As per police sources, fire broke out in a house, which later engulfed to two more adjoining houses and one shop, late last night in Kiyar Dachhan area.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals doused the flames with their limited sources, but till then four structures including three houses and one shop were completely gutted in fire, while one house got partially damaged.
The damaged houses and shop belongs to Madan Lal (SPO), son of Dina Nath, Vinay Kumar, son o Kunj Lal and Bharat Bhushan, son of Duni Chand, all residents of Kiyar Dachhan.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Dachhan police has taken cognizance in this regards.
Meanwhile, MLA Kishtwar Sunil Sharma along with District Magistrate Angrez Singh Rana and SSP Kishtwar Abrar Chowdhary flew to the spot and provided tripal, kitchen sets, blankets, towels, solar lights and Rs 10,000 to the affected families. They also assured all possible help to the victims.
