SRINAGAR : Only four guests from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) arrived here while 12 Kashmiris crossed over to other side of the Line of Control (LoC) to meet their relatives, separated in 1947 due to partition. As many as 29 returnees also crossed sides at Kaman post, the last Indian military post on this side of the LoC in Uri sector, official sources told reporters. They said four PoK residents, including a woman, arrived at Kaman post after crossing the Aman Setu, peace bridge this afternoon in the Karvan-e-Aman bus, operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad, capital of POK. They said 14 Kashmiris, including eight women and a child, who had gone to PoK, returned to their homes after completing stay there with their separated family members. Sources said 12 Kashmiris crossed to other side of the LoC to meet their relatives. They included four women and three children. They said 15 PoK residents, who had come here in previous buses, also returned to their homes after completing stay in Kashmir. They included six women and three children. This was the last bus of 2013 during which 863 PoK residents had visited the Kashmir valley, while only 306 had crossed to other side of the LoC from this side of the border. (AGENCIES)
