MENDHAR, June 20: AEE, PHE Sub-Division Mendhar, Showkat Ahmed today suspended four linemen for dereliction of duty.
The linemen namely Mohd Azam, Mohd Hafiz, Mehboob Alam and Mohd Aslam were not only suspended but chargesheeted for not performing their duties during a major religious function celebrated yesterday at Chhajjla Mankote, due to which the devotees have to face acute water shortage.
The AEE also withheld salary of all the four linemen.
