4 injured in group clash over land, water dispute; 4 arrested

RAJOURI, Mar 1: Four persons were injured in group clash over land and water dispute in the area falling under the jurisdiction of Thanna Mandi Police Station.
However, acting swiftly a team from Thanna Mandi Police Station arrested all the 4 accused persons including 3 brothers involved in this barbaric act of violence.
As per police sources, a group clash broke out between two families in Hasyote Pathian area of Thanna Mandi, in which four persons of a family got injured.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Thanna Mandi and later referred to GMC Rajouri for advanced treatment. Two injured persons were later further referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu.
The injured persons were identified as Muneer Hussain, Mohammad Tanveer and Nisar Hussain, sons of Lal Din and Sabar Hussain, son of Muneer Hussain, all resident of Hasyote Pathian.
A case under FIR Number 24/2020 under section 307, 452, 323, 147 and 148 IPC was registered at Thanna Mandi Police Station and hunt was launched to nab the four assailants, who managed to escape from the spot.
Sensing the gravity of the case, a team from Thanna Mandi Police Station under the supervision of SDPO Thanna Mandi Sajjad Khan swung into action and arrested all the four attackers after conducting series of raids in different areas.
The arrested persons were identified as Mir Hussain, son of Sain, Mohammad Bashir, Mohammad Saleem and Javeed, trio sons of Mir Hussain, all residents of Hasyote Pathian. Weapons used in the crime were also recovered from the possession of arrested persons.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
