RAJOURI, Mar 28: Four persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Sunderbani and Nowshera area of district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that Alto car No. JK12/6545 went out of control after some mechanical snag and met with an accident at around 7.30 am near Thandapani in Sunderbani on Jammu-Poonch highway. The mother and son travelling in their car, sustained injuries and were rushed to Sunderbani hospital by police. Later, they were referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu.
They were identified as Manvinder Kour-54, wife of Surinder Singh and her son- Gurdeep Singh (30), residents of Poonch. They were on way to Jammu from Poonch. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
Meanwhile, two youth travelling on a bike met with an accident near Lamberi in Nowshera area and were removed to SDH Sunderbani by police. They were identified as Mustafa Ahmed-19, son of Mohd Rafiq and Masroor Ahmed-24, son of Mohd Shabir, residents of Manjakote in Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
