JAMMU, Feb 20: Akhnoor police arrested four gamblers along with Rs 4,500 stake money.
As per police sources, police team from Akhnoor police station arrested four gamblers along with Rs 4,500 stake money and playing cards.
The gamblers have been identified as Sukhdev Chand of Akhnoor, Harnam Singh of Bathera, Kabir Hussain of Badui and Arjun Singh of Gajansoo.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Akhnoor police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Akhnoor police station Inspector Kuldeep Khajuria made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor, Naresh Singh, SP Rural, Rajeev Pandey and SSP Jammu, Uttam Chand.
