JAMMU, Jan 5: City police today arrested four gamblers and recovered Rs 50,650 worth stake money from their possession.
Police said a raid was conducted in the gambling den this afternoon in the City from where four gamblers were arrested.
They have been identified as Rajinder Sharma son of Dheru Mal R/o Paloura, Rajinder Abrol son of Krishan Lal Abrol R/o Pamposh Colony, Karam Vir Singh son of Krishan Singh R/o KV Nagar and Ajay Sharma son of Brij Lal R/o Rehari Colony.
During the, police recovered Rs 50,0650 worth stake money from the gamblers, who have been booked under the Gambling Act at City police station.
Police parties headed by SHO City Inspector Bharat Sharma made the arrests under the supervision of SP City (North) Yougal Manhas and SDPO City Kulbir Handa.
