JAMMU, Nov 13: Police today arrested four gamblers along with Rs 1,760 stake money from Muthi area, falling under the jurisdiction of Domana police station.
As per police sources, on specific information, a police team from Domana police station conducted a raid in Muthi area and arrested four gamblers along with Rs 1,760 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Dina Nath, son of Roop Lal, Mohinder Kumar, son of Keshav Raj, Vijay Dass, son of Sevak Dass and Girja Shanker, son of Atma Ram, all residents of Chhatisgarh, at present Muthi.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Domana police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Domana police station Mohammad Qasim made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sanjay Parihar and SP Rural Rajeev Pandey.
