JAMMU, Nov 13: Ritvik and Manandeep have qualified for the semifinals of both junior boys and youth boys events in the ongoing 36th J&K Stag State Table Tennis Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Table Tennis Association at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here.
In junior boys’ quarterfinals, Ritvik drubbed Anuj Gupta (11-8,11-8,8-11,11-9), Sunpreet beat Sidhanshu (11-7,11-8,11-8), Divyam Pandoh trounced Abhay Koul (11-3,11-4,11-6) and Manandeep outplayed Amber (11-7,11-8,8-11, 11-9).
In youth boys quarterfinals, Jayesh outclassed Arnav (11-9,11-7,11-4), Adhiraj beat Sunpreet (11-6,6-11,11-7,7-11,11-8), Manandeep defeated Divyam (11-9,9-11,11-8,11-7) and Ritvik Gupta thrashed Ketan (11-7,11-8,11-6).
Earlier, in men’s second round, Hanumant drubbed Arush Kelu (11-9,9-11,11-7,11-8), Asad beat Sidanshu (11-8,11-8,11-7), Sandeep defeated Ankit Sharma (11-4,11-7,11-8), Shorya got better of Propkar (11-3,11-7,11-8), Basu prevailed over Sandeep Luthra (11-7,11-6,11-8), Kumar Tarun beat Manjot (11-7,11-8,11-9), Ketan trounced Anuj (11-9,9-11,11-7,11-8), Mandeep beat Tushar (11-9,9-11,11-7,11-8), Gurvinder trounced Ishaan (11-7,11-8,11-9), Ritvik defeated Hitanshu (11-9,11-8,11-9) and Amber drubbed Aditya (11-7,11-8,11-9).
