JAMMU, Aug 8: Jourian police arrested four gamblers along with Rs 5170 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Jourian police post conducted a raid and nabbed four gamblers along with Rs 5170 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Rajesh Kumar alias Bobby, son of Budhi Singh, Shiv Kumar, son of Krishan Lal, Sandeep Kumar, son of Jagdish Kumar and Suresh Kumar, son of Bihari Lal, all resident of Jourian.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered against them at police post Jourian and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Jourian police post SI Sukhvir Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Naresh Singh and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey.
