JAMMU, Nov 13: Channi Himmat police today arrested 4 gamblers and recovered Rs 40,000 as stake money from their possession.
“The arrested persons were identified as Sarooq Malik son of Babu Malik, Manu Satish son of Kabir, Farith son of Ram Guli and Ashish son of Balkram, all residents of Channi Himmat,” a police official said.
He said in this connection, cognizance under Section 13 of Gambling Act was taken at police station Channi Himmat and further investigation in the case initiated.
