RAJOURI, Feb 16: Tehsildar, Thannamandi, recommended action to the Deputy Commissioner and Director Health Service Jammu against four employees of Primary Health Centre (PHC), Thannamandi who were found absent from duty yesterday.
Official sources said that on the basis of public complaints and directions from the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Tehsildar Thannamandi, Anjum Bashir Khan and Naib Tehsildar paid surprise visit to PHC Thannamandi at around 1 pm and found four employees namely, Pharmacist- Zaheer Shawl, Dental technician -Qadeer Ahmed, X-Ray technician – Zahir Ahmed and Nursing Orderly -Mushtaq Ahmed absent from duty.
Zonal Medical Officer when contacted was also unaware of the whereabouts of these employees. The team informed SDM about the matter. They have recommended action against these employees to the Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri and Director Health services Jammu. Salary of these employees was also stopped.
