4 bovines rescued, one arrested

RAMBAN, Feb 22: Four bovine animals were rescued and one person was arrested from potato farm area, falling under the jurisdiction of Gool police station.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Gool police station laid a naka near potato farm area and intercepted a Tata Mahindra bearing registration number JK14B-4291.
During checking, 4 bovine animals were rescued and arrested the driver of the vehicle, who has been identified as Irshad Gani, son of Abdul Gani of Salwala Gool.
He was smuggling the bovines from Seldhar to Kashmir via Gool area.
A case under FIR Number 5/16 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at police station Gool and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Gool police station SI Ravi Singh Parihar made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Operations Gool Vipan Chandran and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
