4 arrested with intoxicant capsules, heroin

JAMMU, May 22: Police arrested four drug peddlers along with intoxicant capsules and heroin.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Satwari led by SHO Inspector Sameer Jiilani under the supervision of SDPO Sachit Sharma and SP South Mamta Sharma laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 1050 intoxicant capsules from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Kuldeep Raj Sharma, son of Balak Ram Sharma of Sungal Morh Adarsh Colony Akhnoor District Jammu, at present Mattoo Colony Marble Market District Jammu.
Meanwhile, a team from Police Post Sidhra led by SI Majid Hussain under the supervision of SHO Nagrota Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh and SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar laid a naka near Sidhra and intercepted a motorcycle.
During checking, police team recovered 3 grams heroin from the possession of three persons riding on the motorcycle and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Fazil Hussain, Ankit Koul and Sanjay Pandita.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Stations Satwari and Nagrota and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment and other persons involved in this illegal trade.
