4 accused arrested, kidnapped girl rescued

JAMMU, Sept 22: Gandhi Nagar police today arrested four accused, who had attacked three persons with shaped edged weapons injuring them and then kidnapping a girl.
According to the police,  four persons were arrested who had attacked occupants of the vehicle number DL3CC-3000 with sharp edged weapons, injuring three persons and kidnapping  a girl besides snatching their mobile phones and bags and later ran away from  the spot.
During the course of investigations, raids were conducted in the city and outskirts and finally the girl was recovered and four accused persons who were accomplice of Gagandeep Singh son of Surinder Vir Singh resident of Dayanand Colony, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi who is undergoing judicial custody, were arrested
They have been identified as Charanjeet Singh alias Rinkle son of Tarlok Singh resident of ward number 1, Simbal Camp, Paramjeet Singh alias Munna son of Baldev Singh resident of Bhour Camp Kothey, Manpreet Singh alias Munnu son of Manjeet Singh resident of Ajeet Nagar, Rani Bagh, Satwari and Manpreet Singh alias  Sodhi son of Joginder Singh resident of ward number 1, Bohri.
The arrests were made by SI Pawan Kumar Dogra, Incharge Police Post, Digiana under the supervision of SHO police station Gandhi Nagar, Bishnesh Kumar, SDPO South Gandhi Nagar, Sachin Gupta, SP South, Udhay Bhaskar Billa and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
In this connection an FIR number 219/2015 under Section 307/376/382/366.341/323/471/148/212 RPC, 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
