JAMMU, Jan 11: Miran Sahib police arrested four absconding bovine smugglers from Marallian area, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Miran Sahib police station laid a naka at Marallian and nabbed four absconding bovine smugglers, who were at large since April 2015.
The accused have been identified as Mohammad Sadiq alias Raja, son of Mohammad Yousuf, Mohammad Mushtaq alias Munna, son of Haji Lacha, Mohammad Nazir, son of Mohammad Yousuf and Raj Ali, son of Siraj Din, all residents of Marallia.
They were wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 49/15 under Section 188, 353, 332, 336, 147, 427 RPC and 3/5 PCA Act with Miran Sahib police station.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib police station SI Hilal Azhar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
