JAMMU, May 14: The 3rd International Conference on Research and Innovation in Science, Engineering & Technology (RISET–2026) concluded at Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology with a valedictory session attended by academicians, researchers, industry experts and students from India and abroad.
The session was graced by chief guest Ravinder Raina, senior leader and National Executive Member of BJP and guest of honour Dr Deepak Kumar, SDM Jammu North. The programme began with a welcome address by Prof (Dr) Sanjeev Singh, Director YCET, followed by a conference report presented by Dean Academics Dinesh Gupta, highlighting technical sessions, keynote lectures and research presentations.
Distinguished academicians including Dr Anup Shukla and Dr Arun Kumar Verma from IIT Jammu delivered expert lectures during the conference. Awards for Best Paper Presentation were presented to Robinder Singh and Anirudh Sharma, while Tinny Sawhney received the Best Poster Presentation award.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Deepak Kumar appreciated YCET’s efforts in promoting research and innovation, while Ravinder Raina emphasized the role of education, technology and entrepreneurship in achieving the vision of “Viksit Bharat @2047”. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Loveneesh Talwar, Joint Secretary RISET–2026.
