LONDON, July 5: Former Sugababes star Amelle Berrabah has revealed that she has been writing pop hits and has a song in the charts at this very moment.
However, the singer added that she keeps her identity under wraps from her clients due to the politics of the music industry, reported Digital Spy.
“I don’t really tell people who I work with. I have four aliases because being from a girl band it’s all about politics. If you like the song then take it, don’t do it because I’m from a girl band, so I kind of go under the radar. It’s great for business,” Amelle said.
“So most people won’t even know I’ve written the song – it’s all ghost writing. I’ve got one at the moment that’s still in the charts.” (PTI)
