39 bovines rescued, smuggler arrested

KISHTWAR, July 13: Chatroo police rescued 39 bovines and arrested one person.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Chatroo Police Station led by SHO Inspector Sandeep Parihar arrested one person and rescued 30 bovine animals from his possession, which he was trying to smuggle to Kashmir from Doda via Chatroo.
The arrested person was identified as carried from Farooq Ahmed, son of Abdul Kabir of Gadool Tehsil Larnoo District Anantnag. One more smuggler identified as Fayaz Ahmed, son of Ghulam Nabi Naikoo managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 25/2020 under Section 188 IPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Chatroo and investigation started.
